Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems Welcome New Pediatrician

Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems (SVCHS) welcomes Andrea McClintic, DO to Twin City Medical Center to serve as the Pediatrician.

Dr. McClintic comes to SVCHS with a vast background of experiences to share with her patients. She attended college at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she graduated in 2003. Previously, she had her own private practice in Daniels, West Virginia for 12 years. Between 2005 and 2006, she was named the Chief Resident of Pediatric at the Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

“My goal was to make a difference, especially for children, McClintic said. “I wanted to be an advocate for children and families and to help shape their futures. I thought what a better way than to start with their health.”

She is married with four children and has a passion for reading, writing, and being outdoors. She enjoys skiing in the winter and watersports during the summer.

“I believe my finding SVCHS was divine intervention from God above,” McClintic said.

Medical Operations Director Alvin McCuiston, PA-C, said,”Recognizing that children are our future, SVCHS would like to welcome our new Pediatrician Dr. Andrea McClintic to our Twin City Medical Center office. She is accepting new patients ages newborn to 18 years old”
