SVCHS is dedicated to helping patients receive the care they need. The Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems accepts all patients regardless of their insurance or financial status. After utilizing our services, insurance will be billed for a regular office visit. Patients are responsible for any copays required by their insurance. If a patient is uninsured, they are encouraged to apply for our sliding fee scale which is based on family size, gross household income, and federal poverty guidelines. No payments are collected at the school-based clinic.
We do not wish to replace anyone’s pediatrician or primary care provider. Our goal is to serve in adjunct as members of the same care team by offering much-needed services that will help keep children and staff members healthy and in school!
