– Due to weather conditions experienced earlier this week, Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems (SVCHS) has rescheduled its Mobile Mammography event originally planned for this Thursday. The event will now take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the SVCHS Administrative Office in Meadowview.
In addition to mobile mammography services, SVCHS is expanding its focus this year to include cervical and colorectal cancer screenings. These additional screenings will be offered at select events using the SVCHS Mobile Medical Unit (MMU). More details regarding eligibility and scheduling for these services will be shared in the coming weeks.
Patients interested in attending any of these screening events are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance. To do so, please contact Pam Jenkins at extension 1055.
