Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems (SVCHS) is pleased to announce that the Tazewell Community Health Center Pharmacy, located inside the Tazewell Community Health Center in Tazewell, Virginia, officially opened on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. This new addition expands access to affordable, convenient, and patient-centered pharmacy services for the Tazewell community.
As an entity-owned pharmacy, the Tazewell Community Health Center Pharmacy offers a variety of benefits designed to support the health and well-being of SVCHS patients, including:
• Convenient on-site pharmacy services for TCHC patients and the general public
• Prescription Club $4 Plan offering select medications at an affordable price
• Sliding Fee Patient Assistance Program for eligible SVCHS patients
• Delivery services to SVCHS medical sites, as well as local delivery within the Tazewell area
The addition of this new pharmacy allows SVCHS to provide integrated, streamlined care—bringing prescription services directly to the patients who need them most.
