Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems (SVCHS) will be making important technology upgrades that may temporarily impact services at our sites. This work will begin the evening of Wednesday, October 1, after all sites have closed, and continue through Thursday, October 2.
Important: On Thursday, October 2, our phone lines will be down at all SVCHS locations for most of the day.
During this time:
- TK McKee and Bristol sites will be fully down most of the day Thursday.
- Phones, Wi-Fi, email, and domain services will be unavailable at all sites during parts of the day.
- If internet access is needed, it will still be available at sites other than TK McKee and Bristol through wired connections.
Because this project involves SVCHS staff, a third-party IT vendor, and our internet service provider, we cannot provide exact times for when each service will be restored.
