Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is needed.

Free services include:
• Complete history and physical (by health care providers)
• Lab-work: Lipid panel (cholesterol) and fasting blood sugars
• Pap smears
• Sports and school physicals for children
• Information about the Affordable Care Act and Marketplace Insurance

Jill Talbert, R.N., Clinical Director, says, “This is the 15th year that SVCHS has hosted the free health fairs. Throughout the years, more than 3,000 individuals have been served, with many of them becoming our patients as a result of identifying health risks and issues requiring routine and regular medical attention. It is our primary goal to improve the health of our community. We are able to do so through a collaborative partnership with the medical students enrolled in the James H. Quillen College of Medicine of the ETSU Department of Family Medicine, along with Mountain States Health Alliance. The medical students are encouraged to be involved with hopes they will live and work in our rural community.”
